Workshops

Cathy also hosts silk painting workshops for different levels of ability. These are designed to introduce people to the creative process so each can create a silk painting of their own. The more experienced can then add embroidery stitching and develop quilting skills.

Community

Cathy has hosted creative painting and printing workshops for her local church with the aim of bringing people together from the community to work on a communal project. Five large silk banners were created and they are displayed inside All Saints Church in Allesley village, Coventry. Cathy would be happy to work on similar projects with other organisations.

Charity

Recently Cathy has designed and illustrated two children’s colouring books based on the history of Medieval Coventry and the Coventry Guild Hall, which have sold over 6,000 copies raising over £14,000 for charity.
